This Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp is marinated before pan-frying until tender and served with a sticky honey soy sauce.
Ingredients
1.5poundsmedium to large shrimp,shelled and deveined (40-45 shrimp)
1/4 cupless-sodium soy sauce
1/4cuphoney
1tspcumin
1/4tspred chili pepper flakes
2tbspminced garlic
2tbsplime juice
2 tbsp butter
2tbspcilantrochopped
2limescut into wedges
Instructions
Place the shrimp, soy sauce, honey, cumin, red pepper flakes, garlic, and lime juice in a large resealable bag. Seal the bag and gently toss the contents together to combine them. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt to cover the skillet. Pour the shrimp and the marinade into the skillet, cooking the shrimp for about 30 seconds, then flipping them to cook an additional 30 seconds on the other side, until pink.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and cook the marinade for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened, whisking often.
Pour the thickened sauce over the cooked shrimp and sprinkle the cilantro on top.
Serve with a fresh lime wedge to squeeze over the shrimp.
