Is Shrimp Good for You?

Shrimp is a healthy, versatile protein choice to add to your diet. It is very low calorie for how much protein is inside, about 19 grams of protein per 3 ounces of shrimp. This seafood is great for you because it is full of antioxidants and good fats. The part of shrimp that is usually bad for you is the fried coating and the artificial sauces served alongside. Because the sauce in this recipe is homemade, it is much healthier and lower in fat and sugar.

I like to change up my family’s protein sources, and shrimp is a fabulous addition to your protein choices. Want more shrimp recipes? Try my Easy Cajun Shrimp Skewers!
