Depending on the type of protein powder used in this recipe, this protein shake is totally vegan! Any plant-based chocolate protein powder, along with all other ingredients listed, make for a completely plant-based protein shake with a chocolatey kick. I like to use unsweetened almond milk instead of cows milk because I love the flavor, and it is another vegan ingredient to add to this shake.
