Why is Ground Turkey Healthier than Beef?
Ground turkey is leaner than ground beef, depending on the variety you purchase. A lower fat content in the meat will usually have lower calories and more heart healthy ingredients. Turkey has less saturated fat than beef, and can be flavored to have a more beefy flavor. Turkey is the clear winner!
Lean ground meat will always be healthier than ones with higher fat content. Look for the lowest percentage of fat on the ground turkey label when purchasing. Love ground turkey? Also try my Easy Turkey Burger Sliders!
