A creamy, lemony sauce with herbs is typically an indulgence that you don’t have often, but not anymore! My healthy Easy Baked Lemon Tilapia has a luxurious cream sauce with a punch of lemon and herbs. First, I season the fish with salt, pepper, lemon seasoning, and fresh dill before pouring light butter and lemon juice over the top. Then, I bake the fish while I make the sauce. The sauce is simply light cream cheese, lemon juice, and more fresh dill. Serve the sauce on top of the flaky fish. This healthy and flavorful Easy Baked Lemon Tilapia will be your favorite healthy way to eat fish!

What are the Health Benefits of this Dish?
To kick-start this recipe into the healthy territory, I use light butter and light cream cheese for the fish and the sauce. This immediately cuts down on the calorie and fat count in the end. Tilapia is already an extremely low calorie and low fat protein. Dill is commonly known as a digestive aid, curing an upset stomach and gas with it’s folic acid content. Lemons of course add a great source of vitamin C to this dish. Just because a dish is healthy doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have lots of flavor!
Lemon and herbs together are one of my favorite combinations. For more lemon-herb recipes, try my One Pan Lemon Rosemary Chicken and Rice!
