Protein shakes are a delicious way to integrate more fruits, veggies, and protein into your diet. My Apple Pie Protein Shake is a healthy breakfast that tastes just like a slice of homemade apple pie! I start by coring an apple and cutting it into small cubes. I then load the blender with almond milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, stevia, cinnamon, and ice. Blend on high until smooth, creamy, and frothy. Try this Apple Pie Protein Shake for your next breakfast or post-workout snack!

What Are the Health Benefits of Apples?
Experts used to always say, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away!” That logic is not as common anymore, however apples do have lots of vitamins and minerals that we need every day. Eating apples is associated with weight loss, a healthy heart, and can lower the risk of diabetes. They have also been found to promote healthy gut bacteria and aid in digestion. All in all, apples are an awesome snack and dessert.
There is nothing like biting into a crisp, fresh apple. For more apple recipes, try my Cranberry Apple Chutney Relish Recipe!
