Two-ingredient recipes are simple, and inexpensive to make. My Light and Easy: Pumpkin Chocolate Brownies with Two Ingredients require a boxed chocolate cake mix, and pumpkin puree. That’s it! Begin by mixing the dry mix into the pumpkin puree. Next, add that mix into a pan lined with foil or cooking spray. Finally, bake until a toothpick comes out clean and enjoy! What Are the Healthy Elements of Pumpkin?

100 percent pumpkin puree (NOT canned pumpkin pie filling) is an all-natural canned product that only has one ingredient; pure pumpkin. When buying canned pumpkin, be sure that pumpkin is the only ingredient in the can. Otherwise, canned pumpkin pie filling has loads of sugar and spices that we do not want in our brownies! Pumpkin is a very healthy food, displaying beta carotene, potassium, and antioxidants in both canned and fresh varieties.
