My juicer is one of my most prized possessions in my kitchen. I use it to make all types of juices, including my Fresh Start Juice with Carrots, Apples, and Ginger. It is called “fresh start” because it is so nutritious to drink in the mornings! Begin by throwing some carrots, lemon, cucumber, parsley, apples, and ginger all into the juicer. This delicious homemade juice is pressed with carrot, apple, cucumber, parsley, and fresh ginger. I like to use two types of apples for a unique sweetness!


  • 6 medium sized carrots, peeled
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 1 small cucumber, peeled
  • 1/4 bunch parsley, stems attached
  • 2 small Granny Smith apples
  • 2 small Fuji or Gala apples
  • 1 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled


  • Add all ingredients into the juicer and serve cold over ice.
