Why Use the Slow Cooker?
The Slow Cooker is such an awesome kitchen appliance to have. You can set most models to either low or high, and you are able to walk away without any fuss. You can cook a multitude of dishes in the slow cooker, such as chili, pot roast, soups, stews, dips, and even desserts! When cooking on the stove, you still need to stir every once in a while and check on your dish, but not with a slow cooker. It is seriously so low maintenance!
If you do not have a slow cooker, you could do this in a Dutch oven over very low heat for less amount of time. I do recommend getting a slow cooker to make your life easier! Want more slow cooker recipes? Try my delicious Healthier Slow Cooker General Tso’s Chicken Meatballs!
