Dinner in the slow cooker is so awesome; you can set it and forget it. My Slow Cooker Crock Pot Beer Chicken is a great dish to cook all day long. The best part is that this chicken is Weight Watchers-friendly! I start with seasoning the chicken breasts simply with some red pepper flakes and oregano. Then I add a bunch of light beer to the chicken. You can set the slow cooker to low or high, whichever you have time for! This Slow Cooker Crock Pot Beer Chicken has all the flavors of beer and spices, and it is so simple to make.

Ingredients in Slow Cooker Crock Pot Beer Chicken

  • boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • light beer
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • red pepper flakes
  • dried oregano

How to Make Slow Cooker Crock Pot Beer Chicken

Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and oregano. Place the breasts in the slow cooker, and pour the beer over the breasts.

Cover, and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or low for 6-8 hours.

Remove the chicken and shred with two forks or in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment.

Portion out into airtight bags or containers and use as desired.

This Weight Watchers-friendly chicken is simmered in beer while inside the slow cooker. The beer makes the chicken juicy, and can be served in so many ways!

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz. can light beer
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
